3-Year-Old Dies After Being Found in Port Allen Search, at Plaquemine Hospital
Jacie Lee, 3, went missing from Port Allen's Antonio Subdivision area and was found in a neighbor's swimming pool. She was transported to a Plaquemine hospital where she was pronounced dead. WBRSO is investigating as an accidental drowning.

Manufactured Home Destroyed in Gas-Related Explosion on Nolan David Road
A manufactured home on Nolan David Road was destroyed after a resident struck a match following a reported gas leak that parish utilities had checked earlier in the day. Two adults were taken to the burn unit.

Port Allen Man Arrested on Fugitive Warrant in Crawfish Theft Case
Ricky G. Hasbert, 54, was arrested by WBRSO and transferred to Pointe Coupee Parish to face three counts of livestock theft — crawfish valued at $8,819. The warrant was originally issued in February 2025.
