Political Advertising Policy
WBR Independent accepts political advertising from all candidates and committees at our standard rates. Political ads are clearly labeled and run on an equal-access basis. I reserve the right to decline ads that contain false or misleading claims.
All political advertisers must provide a written statement identifying the person or committee responsible for the ad, as required by Louisiana R.S. 18:1505.3(D)(2). These records are retained for two years.
Political advertising does not influence editorial coverage. Candidates who purchase ads receive no favorable treatment, and candidates who don't are not treated differently.
