*200 customers on Avenue A, B, and C to lose power Tuesday for reliability improvements*

PORT ALLEN – Entergy Louisiana will cut power to approximately 200 customers Tuesday, August 12th, from 8 AM to 3 PM to perform scheduled reliability work in central Port Allen.

The planned outage affects customers on Avenue A, Avenue B, and Avenue C. No schools will be impacted by the work.

**Weather Contingency**

If bad weather is forecast, Entergy will postpone and reschedule the outage. The utility emphasized the work is designed to improve long-term reliability in the affected area.
